What inspired you to get into design?
After graduating from high school with honors in Mathematics, I pursued a degree in marketing and sales, specializing in textiles. My journey took a pivotal turn during an internship at a design firm, where I had the opportunity to work on creating and designing custom kitchens and bathrooms. It was here that I discovered my true passion for design and decoration. In 1999, I took a significant step forward in my career by joining a decorative fabrics and interior design company as a project manager and window treatments specialist, furthering my skills and expanding my creative horizons.
What is your current favorite design trend?
My current favorite trend is modern design, which emerged in the 20th century. It celebrates simplicity, featuring clean lines and a palette of muted tones that create a serene and sophisticated aesthetic. This approach not only emphasizes functionality but also brings a timeless elegance to spaces.
Who is your favorite celebrity designer?
My favorite TV designer is Christina Anstead. I admire her innovative approach to design, her ability to transform spaces, and her keen eye for detail. Her work inspires me and showcases the perfect blend of functionality and style.
